Re: Unable to create bootable usb key installer

Hello I've been dying to try this operating system, and I normally create all my linux install discs using Unetbootin on my desktop to save cd's and because my drive is broke anyways. Every time I boot pinguy os from netbootin I get an error stating that it couldn't mount the filesystem.squashfs to /dev/loop0. I made sure when I tried it that the checksum was correct(kinda redundant since bittorrent does that anyways), and I also tried the 32 and 64 bit versions and got the same error.

Is there an "official" or other method of booting the installer from usb key?

Try wiping the flash drive (delete and re-create the partitions on it). And then try unetbootin again. From time to time I've found I have to do this.
