Been following Pinguy OS since it was announced on Distrowatch and Jason - a friend that used to live near me in Ireland until recently - started doing artwork for the distro.
Been using Linux ever since I was shown Fedora 10 live CD and I then found Ubuntu 8.10.
Dabbled with many distro's so far and stuck with Debian based ones so far.
Looking forward to how this distro will develop!
I entirely agree with you SteveOll.......
PinguyOS will move swiftly up the Distrowatch chart (and....the others) as soon as the word gets out about the ease of the install and ease of use for the everyday user......Great desktop and/or laptop os.....

Found you through stumble upon today and am in process of downloading now.
I have been looking for a distro that friends can use and not be confused with. This sounds good and looking forward to trying it out. I am running XP with Kubuntu on one, XP and PCLinux OS on another and XP with Mepis on another I have to have XP as I use it when I need to help others. Not very techy to darn old but I like to play.

Right now i am dualbooting Windows 7 (only for the gaming and Photoshop) and Ubuntu 10.04. Jolicloud on my netbook.

Hey there MrHAxx have you given GIMP and Inkscape a really good run through? I am sure you would have done, but if not both are really good programs?
